Cardiac Rehab

The Trinity Health Michigan Cardiac Rehabilitation program is designed to help people who have experienced various cardiac conditions and treatments, including heart attack, bypass and valve surgery, angioplasty, stable angina, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, stress, cardiovascular disease and heart failure.

A team of experts will work with you and your doctor to develop a tailored rehabilitation program to meet your specific needs. Your program will consist of three key elements essential for a healthy heart:

  • Exercise – Regular physical activity that is tailored to your abilities, needs and interests.
  • Education – Learning about your heart problem, its causes and treatments and how you can manage it.
  • Behavior Changes – Advice on why and how to change your lifestyle to lower your risk of future heart problems.

Am I A Candidate?

Within the past year, if you've been diagnosed as needing cardiac care and you're passionate about improving your health, you're an ideal candidate for cardiac rehab. You'll benefit from the safety of our medically-supervised program and the personal attention of our trained experts.

How Do You Get Started?

Many insurance providers, including Medicare, will cover the cost of our program, but we encourage you to check with your carrier before enrolling. In order to enroll in cardiac rehab, you must first obtain a referral from your doctor. Speak directly with your doctor or contact your physician's office to begin the journey toward a happier, healthier heart.
