Internal Medicine Residency


Information

  • All applications are accepted through ERAS
  • Applications will be evaluated on an individual basis and applicants granted an interview as space allows
  • We prefer scores of 210 or higher on both Step 1 and Step 2 of the USMLE on your first attempt
  • We prefer scores of 450 or higher on both Comlex Level 1 and Level 2 CE on your first attempt
  • We prefer recent medical school graduates (within the last 2 years)
  • Our institution only sponsors J1 visas

For the 2023 ERAS® cycle, our program will be participating in the supplemental ERAS application offered through the AAMC's ERAS program. Applicants will be required to complete the MyERAS application, and participation in the supplemental ERAS application is optional.

Interview Day

Interviews will be on Fridays from mid October to mid December. The interview day will last from approximately 8 a.m.-1 p.m.

Visiting Learners

We welcome visiting medical students and residents for rotations. Students apply for rotations through VSAS. Find us via Michigan State University – College of Human Medicine – Grand Rapids Campus. Residents please contact Susan.Grice@trinity-health.org to begin the application process.
